William Mitchell, Charles. Hypatia Inglaterra,1885(?) [Pintura]

El pintor inglés Charles William Mitchell vivió en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y es recordado básicamente por su única obra famosa Hypathia que se conserva en en la Laing Art Gallery en Inglaterra. Pertenece a una corriente tardía del romanticismo llamada prerrafaelismo que buscaba un realismo y detallismo extremo en las pinturas con motivos románticos.
